Tal Maissner – Founder Urban Groove Production / Event Producer / Event Solutions Specialist
Tal Maissner has been working in the Events Industry in one fashion or another for well over 15 years. He is also the Founder of Urban Groove Productions which is about to celebrate its’ eighth year in the market. Tal’s skill set includes backgrounds in planning and logistics, technical production, décor and creative event elements.
As a teenager Tal got his start in the events industry working as an interactive DJ/MC Headliner for the Acclaimed Mandell Entertainment Group. With a degree in radio TV Arts / Marketing in hand he moved back to the United States to pursue a career in Radio. After 3 years abroad Tal returned to Toronto in order to change Careers back to his first professional love EVENTS and began on a new path. Five years later the doors to Urban Groove productions opened. Aside from the success of Urban Groove in the Canadian market Tal has also secured his place as one of Canada’s premier Event Solutions Specialist. Some of his Clients include: Starlight Star bright Children’s Foundation, Swiss RE and The Equicom group (tsx company).
Although both he and Urban Groove have one several awards within the Events Industry he is most proud of winning best Entertainment produced for a private individual in 2003.
